Recently, I took Corocidin Cough and Cold, and accidently overdosed on it, which landed me in the ER. Symptoms began arising – such as short of breath, difficulty swallowing, chills, fever, etc. Afterwards, when the symptoms didn’t go away completely, I went to the Doctor and he told me I had a stomach virus, and all I could do was wait it out. So I did. It was the most horrible thing ever. It, honest to god, made me think I was going to die. The shortness of breath was still there, as was the difficulty swallowing. And I just felt weak, and like I could die at any minute. More often than not I woke up with panick attacks. I do have Anxiety and depression, and I know that can affect chemicals in your body alot. Eventually, my stomach virus went away, and for a while – a month or so – I felt okay again. And everything was fine.
Also some other notes – I’ve had an ongoing UTI for about 3 or 4 years now. I’d take pills for it, but it only went away while I was taking the pills. And, my grandma Sandi, who was a nurse, now believes I have Acid Reflux. UTI & Acid Reflux at the same time.. ugh..

Anyways, so the symptoms went away. Just the other day I was smoking quite a bit of cigs since sometimes I can be quite the chainsmoker, and I had a lot of stress. Suddenly it hit me like BAM. All of those symptoms of feeling like I was dying and week came back. Now I can barely even walk down the road without getting worn out, or walk up and down a flight of stairs. I have a hard time swallowing, constantly. I have aches and pains everywhere that keep coming and going. And I’m always rushing to the bathroom, which I know isn’t good, since I’m letting out too many fluids from my body, when there aren’t any I put in there. I am also having trouble sleeping, for fear that I’ll die in my sleep.
I guess you could say I have an irrational fear of dying. Like it could happen at any moment, second, time. And I HATE it.
Anyways… I hope I can get some good answers on this, because It’s really confusing.

My husband has hypoglocemia(low blood sugar) and severe acid reflux.Lately it has been bothering him more.I need to find some recipe ideas that will not make these conditions act up as bad everything I cook makes him sick.I am mexican so I am unable to fix mexican food for him and he is white.So I really need some ideas or a link to a site that can help me thanks in advance.

My husband has been a lifelong sufferer and has been on just about everything for his reflux. Over the past few years, he has developed recurring pain in his left side/chest area, just below and inside the ribcage. He has seen his regular doctor, his gastroenterologist, the cardiologist and had CT scans, ultrasounds, x-rays, upper GI’s, stress/treadmill tests, everything. All the doctors say there is nothing wrong with him. So why the pain? We’re wondering if it’s possible that the combination of meds that he’s been on for the past 15-20 years might be having some effect and causing the pain. Anyone else with this experience?

My throat has been killing me last night, I keep spitting up and my throat hurts like a bit*h. Also my whole body feels very weak. I will see a doctro soon but, What can i do now immediatly to help reduce this, take TUMS or other off the counter medicine, What type of food should i avoid? ANd one more thing does drinking tea with honey help? It does make me feel better.

My 6 month old has been on Zantac since he was 1 month old. I don’t like that he has to rely on medicine. He is breastfed so I have decided to change my diet and eliminate dairy, chocolate, citris, and spicy food. But I want to know if ther is anything else that can help sooth his reflux naturally.

My baby might have thrush. Could this also be contributing to his acid reflux?
