anythign that i can get in drug store, i forogt my med at home and am in GA for my cousins with a friend. my symptons are throwing up, heartburn bad ones and feeling like shit!!!!!!

At first it wasn’t that bad. But it kept getting worse and worse. So I started taking pepcid complete. Its an over the counter anti acid. Is it ok for me to just continue to take a Pepcid complete chew tablet after every meal or should I see a doctor about a prescription medication? Im 20, so im pretty sure it’s not normal for people my age to have this problem.

Family member has both COPD and CHF, and for couple of months now has had increased reflux the minute she puts head down on pillow. It’s not necessarily acid, but it’s like most liquid of what ever it’s eaten just goes up, sometimes accompanied by tiny pieces of food. We avoid for her going straight to sleep right after dinner, afraid fluids may go to lungs, but seldom does she want to wait half hour before going to sleep or at least lying down.

She’s been only treated for those two diseases but I recall reading about her abdominal aorta in the medical records we got from hospital after one of her stays. Her home visiting doctor got a copy as well_aside from the one he got from us_and unfortunately mine has been put away in boxes and would take a while before I find it. I never asked any of her doctors about it, since they did not talk about it either. I’m planning on asking about it and letting them know about this reflux on Monday. Is it customary in people with her condition?

but it like cramps badly and she has me on a diet and theres no burning or anything its like cramping then it stopped for a day then it started hurting in my right lower abdomen. help?

1) Can you get rid of it forever, so that you would be able to eat as much as you want again without feeling the heart burn like you used to?

2) I don’t have it THAT bad where I throw up & what not, but if I were to drink alot of Alcohol, what would happen?

3) What can I eat that’s good for me because I can’t eat: Fast foods, Chocolate, No caffeen, Nothing Friend, etc.

I Have Taken Him To The Dr. 4 Times In The Last Three Weeks And They Act Like Im Some Crazy Person. They Tell Me NOTHING Is Wrong With my Son And Just Increase His Dosage For The Zantac. My Son Spits Up 4-5 Times After Each meal And Though He Is Gaining Weight its Obvious He Is Miserable. He Is Usually A Happy Baby Except For The Spitting Up. He Has These Outburst Of Crying That Will Last For Hours And That Started About A Month Ago…While Eating He Arches His Back And Screams In Pain….I KNow My Child…And I KNow This Is Not Normal. They Now Have Him Taking 1 Ml Of Zantac 3 Times A Day And Its Only Getting Worse! Im Wondering If Anyone Has Had To Deal With This Or Has Suggestions….Also He Wakes Up Everything Hours And Cries During The Night…And The Dr.s Still Try To Tell Me Nothing Is Wrong With Him…..HELP!
Oh and I Am Taking Him To A Pediatric Center…So The Dr. Specializes In Babies!
