best medication for acid reflux???

anythign that i can get in drug store, i forogt my med at home and am in GA for my cousins with a friend. my symptons are throwing up, heartburn bad ones and feeling like shit!!!!!!

I have good luck with Prilosec OTC.
I had this… I take pariet 200mg once a day and it cures my problem. I would go with TUMS or Pepcid AC. for a quick fix drink milk not to thick of milk. stay away from water because it will just bring your acid levels up…. alos, sleep with your head raised because you don’t want the acid sitting in your throat because it will eat away at your asophagus.
Also, if your throwing up because of your acid, I woudl goto the hospital because it sounds serious.
Prilosec is really good. If you can’t get to medicine always drink milk. Milk is alkaline and lowers the acidity of your stomach. It really does work. Good luck!
