I have not been able to exercise for a while due to a leg injury, and the lack of cardio exercise has left me feeling constipated and extremely bloated. Even prior to the injury I have been struggling with chronic bloating and belching and occasional acid reflux. This lack of exercise has only made them worse. I avoid carbonated drinks, caffeine, fried foods, spicy foods, and anything that will make me inflamed. I eat a lot of fruit, vegetables, and plenty of fiber. Is it possible I am eating too much of those? I feel so full and so bloated that I do not even want to eat anything anymore. What can I do?

I have been told to cut down on acidic food, i.e. currys, tomatoes, tomatoe puree (or anything with tomatoe puree in) (all that I love)
Onions,Chips,
All citrus fruits, all fizzy pops, tea, coffee.
I understand all this, but now I have also been told to avoid, chocolate, ice cream, cakes, sausage, bacon, cheese. Is there anything left for me to eat. I do not have high cholesterol, so what has the reduction of these second foods got to do with acid reflux.
Hope someone out there is familiar with this condition.
Kind regards
