My toddler is 16 months old. Since she was 6 months old i unknowingly overfed my baby. So almost every night she would projectile vomit after she woke up from crying. I seriously had no idea i was doing this. Because during the same time she had gotten sick.. so i just thought that was the reason she threw up so much. However 2 weeks later the sickness went away and the vomitting still occured for another month. What an awful mother i was to not realize what i was doing. til this day i dont forgive myself.
Since she was 6 months old. she started vomitting very easily. like if she cried too long or too hard. or if she ate something and it got stuck in her mouth.. and every single time she got sick she vomit terribly.
would this mean that she had a reflux problem??
since she was a newborn she has been drinking Similac Advance.. and now she drinks Similac go & grow for toddlers because more than a few bottles of red milk causes her to get awfully constipated.
Since she has been drinkin Similac Advance from newborn to 6 months just fine it cant be the formula right??? or could it be??

My child has bad acid reflux and now 6 weeks old. The ped told me to put a little cereal in her bottle to help with the acid. I only do it in her first bottle of the day and last bottle before bed though. I was only doing like 1/2 a scoop in 4 oz and it is such a little amount that it comes out the regular nipple. How much and at what age did you start giving cereal. Please none of that not giving cereal til they get older stuff, I know that but what the ped suggested helps her and she has no tummy problems now. There is no serving suggestions on the container so was just wondering.

I’d like to know if other Apsies have stomach problems because I was reading a blog someone wrote and they are an aspie. And they say they have a lot of stomach problems. This made sense to me because I do, but I don’t know if a lot of other aspies have this too. I was just diagnosed today, but I have suspected I have had this for a while. I took Early Childhood Education and actually did get my teaching degree. I was able to pass all the courses, although my professors, cooperating teachers, and advisors all saw that I was having problems socially. After reading about Aspergers in one of the courses about special needs in children, I did suspect that I had this. I approached my professors about it, and although they couldn’t really diagnose me, they all suggested I get it checked out. Now they all tell me they did suspect I had this. But they couldn’t talk about it too much because it wasn’t their job, but they are very glad I did get it diagnosed. Now I don’t know if I will be able to be a teacher. I did pass the courses but so much of teaching has to do with being able to correspond with others. Other people find me rude sometimes, overly friendly sometimes, or hard to approach sometimes. I am hard to read, and it sets people on edge. They never quite know what to think about me, and I am immature or just “act weird”. At least now I know why, and that I was born with this. I can’t really help it. I’ve been having a lot of depression and anxiety, which comes with this. But I wonder if the acid reflux does too? If you know any aspies, do they complain about acid reflux or stomach hurting or such things? I have frequent headaches too.

I know with my first child he was extremely fussy from Acid reflux and cried a lot. With our second child, he just sleeps and when he is awake, he is as quiet as can be. He sleeps all day and night except for about 3-4 hours. He usually is awake in the morning for about 2 hours and in the evening about 1-2 hours. He wakes to eat every 3 hours. Is he sleeping too much? He is just so different from our first. Thanks!

I’m worried about what i’ve read on the internet and about esophogal cancers and so many other things. I just started to get acid reflux ( i think that’s what it is ) symptoms last year. I’m 34. I know stress triggers it, and eating large meals before bed, chocolate, etc. I’ve read all that… but is it really necessary to see a doctor for this?
I DON’T want to take medication for it and was hoping I could treat it by the way I eat.
What tests do they do to eliminate possible diseases or cancers or whatever that occur from it if it’s untreated for some time? We are trying to conceive a child and I don’t want to take anything that will hurt the situation.
Again, who do I contact? My GP for a referral to a specialist or what kind of doctor should I zone in on that specializes in this so that I can avoid a useless dr’s appointment.

My son has bad reflux and my dr said to put 1 tsp of rice cereal per ounce of formula in the bottle to keep his formula down…i use playtex drop ins and the problem is I cant get the formula through the nipple, I tried all 4 kinds of nipples, including the tricut, which is meant for thicker formula. I even tried cutting it, but then it comes out to fast..Any ideas from parents who have had the same problem with there child, is there a was to get the formula out at a good flow, where he wont choke because it comes out to fast ?

My baby is almost 5 months old and has been diagnosed with Acid Reflux. He’s exclusively breast fed, and after trying lots of different things we had to start him on Zantac because he is refusing to eat very much (he will only take about 2-2.5 oz is my guess each feeding). We have tried expressed milk in a bottle, and formula…all with the same result – refusal. The doctor started him on Zantac last week and it’s only been 5 days he’s been taking the medication but he is still refusing to eat and we have to top him up with expressed milk after every feeding using a syringe.
I am not looking to be judged on giving my baby medicine, you would too your child was not eating enough and gaining weight well. I am looking to find other people that had similiar experiences and how long it took until their baby began to breastfeed (or drink formula normally again).

I am at a stand still with these symptoms. Couple months ago my acid reflex acted up so I take my nexium. Symptoms go away. My allergies are bad. I get steroid shots different times in the year. Next, my chest started feeling like it had a brick lying on it. Naturally, I assumed it was my allergies again. Next, somehow I got a kidney infection along with a yeast infection. Got rid of those but still had issues with my kidney infection. That is fine today except I have lower back pain which I associate wiht the 3 spinal blocks I have had during child birth. I made an appointment with my rhumatologist…..arthritis doc and had made one with my stomach doc but he wants me to see my regular doc to make sure it is not my heart…..Am I dying? I wake up with all these symptoms and I go to bed with them….Whats Up here? I am soooooo confused.
My doctor thinks it is my gall bladder…any info on this form yall.
