Times to give my baby zantac?

My little one was diagnosed with acid reflux. He was given zantac for treatment, 1ml twice a day. I gave it to him around 11am this morning, its now 8:50pm and he is showing symptoms again. Should I wait until 11pm to give it to him? Like every 12 hours since it’s prescribed twice a day or does it not matter as long as the doses are not too too close together? Any opinions??

You suffer a heartburn attack and pop a pill to get relief from the pain and distress. Problem solved … well not quite! Conventional acid reflux treatments, while providing that much needed relief, do have some serious drawbacks, the least of which is that they are only temporary.

There is a general misconception that heartburn is caused by too much acid in the stomach. Somebody I am very close to has horrible acid reflux disease and needs treatment. It’s not like she is going to die – but the disease is having a substantial impact on her life. She had it under check by taking prevacid, but then she lost her prescription drug benefits. Now she cannot afford the pills. I, on the other hand, have a relatively low co-pay for prescriptions. If I can get a doctor to write me a script for prevacid, I can give them to her and make her life better. However, I’ve never suffered from acid reflux – and i’ve never asked my doctor for a specific prescription. Any tips on faking him out and getting the pills she needs?
everyone tells me what i shouldn’t do, but nobody answers my question.

is it fraud? yes – but once i get past the dr., the pharmacist is just going to fill the prescription. if my doctor suspects i’m lying – he’ll just tell me no. i know how he is. so my risks are low.
