I used to have something like that when i was a young girl it is most painful when you swollow its good that you see a doctor think it happends when you are run down
I was in hospital for totally unrelated issue and during tests, they found lots of acid reflux damage. My difficulty swallowing and that bruised feeling is from Lupus.
oh yea dont eat to many Rolaids you get too much calcium and you get kidney stones and piss them out…..if it is heartburn the best thing is vinegar(no lie)it took me years before i would try it one tablespoon and in 22 sec.your free……really
The problem you are having is that you are not digesting your food properly. The Acid Reflux problem is from NOT having enough stomach acid to digest your proteins in your stomach. You need a pH of between 1.5 and 3.0 to properly digest the bolus that enters your stomach. You most likely have some damage to your esophagus from Lactic Acid due to the rotting bolus in your stomach. If the pH of the stomach doesn’t get low enough, the food sits in your stomach and rots, waiting for the pH to go lower. The parietal cells in the stomach are responsible for producing the HCL at a pH of about .8 as it is being produced.
The antacids doctors give you stop the digestion process and cause the stomach acidity to never get below about 4.5. This causes the bolus to rot and then pass through the pyloric sphincter after a while and this high pH bolus becomes the chime that enters the small intestines where a high pH won’t allow calcium, magnesium, and zinc to be digested through the walls of the jejunum.
Acid reflux is caused by the Lactic Acid being formed from rotting food because there is not enough stomach acid. The role of stomach acid is to break down proteins in the stomach, kill bad bacteria, and create an acidic chime that passes into the jejunum where the pancreas excretes digestive enzymes and bicarbonate to raise the pH so other nutrients and vitamins can be absorbed further down the intestinal track.
You are not going to solve your problem with antacids! That garbage is going to make your digestion worse and your body sick. The easiest and quickest way to stop this problem is to solve it by adding stomach acid after each meal. This stops the acid indigestion within about 3 minutes of taking it and it doesn’t come back later. This is a very inexpensive way of solving the problem.
Drug companies made $50 billion dollars on this farce last year alone. This cost the American public many billions beyond that cost in other drugs and medicines sold by the drug companies to deal with the diseases and conditions caused by taking these antacids.
I received an e-mail from a woman in Australia that had acid reflux problems. She had an operation to fix the hiatal hernia caused from the reflux. The doctor clipped a nerve by accident that eliminated her gag response. She now has to stuff food down her throat because she doesn’t have a swallowing response. Every month, she has to go in and have old food removed from her esophagus to get rid of the stench from the rotting food there.
If you have ANY scars on the front of your body from the top of your head to your anus, these scars can cause the parietal cells in your stomach to be subdued and you will not produce the stomach acid you need to digest properly.
This can be corrected with herbs. If you have no scars, you will still need to take HCL after each meal. As we age and eat cooked foods, we produce less and less of the acid. By the age of 70 – 80, we are producing about 5% or less of the amount we produced at the age of 25 – 30.
Go to: http://www.healthline.cc (not .com) and order the following:
Betaine HCL — take 2 to 4 capsules after each meal
Activator — Take 1 to 2 capsules after each meal
Quantum Digest — Take 1 to 2 capsules DURING the meal.
Probiotic — Take 1 in the a.m. and 1 in the p.m.
Do the above each day and you will be amazed at how easy it is to get rid of the reflux problem and for about 1/4 the cost of what you are spending on antacids. Then add to that all the costs you are saving by not having to deal with all the side effects and future diseases and hospital expenses.
Good luck to you
acid reflux is different from a swallowing disorder. A Swallowing disorders involves trouble ingesting food before it gets to the esophagus. Unless you literary cant swallow food you can rule out a swallowing disorder. If your chewing your good up then id say its a possibility, but must reflux sufferers have indigestion. Try some an H2 blocker such as pepcid AC, or a Proton pump inhibitor such as prilosec.
Hope you’re seeing a GI Specialist. You may need to have your esophagus dilated. Acid reflux can lead to Barrett’s disease if not treated promptly.
