I have a 4 month old, he has acid reflux. He is on enfamil lipil and baby rice.?
His stools are yellow and have a mixture of brown which is sometimes shiny. Does anyone else have their child on enfamil with rice and have the same colored stools? I just want to know what to look for in case its a milk allergy, or if this is the way he digests the rice.

Stools sound normal.
Very normal to be different colors like that.
Milk protein allergy will produce rash, vomiting, excess gas, constipation or diarrhea, blood and mucous in stool.
If baby is 4 months and has never had a problem…it’s not a protein allergy. Possibly just the addition of the rice cereal. Make sure you are only using a teeny bit to thicken…it doesn’t take much to do that.
use enfamil AR that is what it is for. My daughter had that problem and the AR cleared the reflux right up… that will solve your poop prob too lol. You shouldn’t be needing to put rice in the bottle… the AR has rice protein in it and its the same price as the lipil
