I’ll start off by saying that I’ve been in a tussle with insurance companies, but now that it’s sorted out I plan on making a gen. doc appt. tomorrow…so “go to a doc” is appreciated but not necessary….at this point I’m just curious.
Basically here’s what I have going on….
In November I went to the hospital because 2 weeks before that I had been having shoulder discomfort in my left shoulder/elbow not pain, but feeling like it needed to crack or snap….all the time, and when I do it feels better for a second. Elbow would crack like I was breaking celery apart…sound.
Then I started not being able to eat and my throat felt like it was closing constantly, almost like I was choking. I got sick and vomitted the one morning. I had some acid reflux. And my back was sore. I also had a ton of gas/burping. Then two nights in a row I had panic attacks that made me think I was having a heart attack.

I am a 24 year old female. Since beginning of July I’ve been having pains in my LEFT kidney. It was nothing terrible just a faint numbness. I just rubbed it and slept on my right side and it would usually go away. A week ago the pain in my LEFT kidney radiates to my LEFT shoulder blade and the faint pain stays there. Plus the pain got worse. Yesterday I got a pain on my RIGHT ovary… that pain for the most part went away. TODAY I have pain on my RIGHT kidney and the pain radiates to my RIGHT shoulder blade. NOW both sides are hurting. It’s a faint numbness that gets to a sharp pain for a few seconds. If I take a deep breath I feel the pain in my back. Today I am also getting acid reflux with it. FYI my pee is normal. I’m going to the doctor tomorrow but people are telling me it’s my kidneys, gallbladder, stones, ovary infection, mini heart attacks or just bad gas. What do I believe??? I know I will get an answer tomorrow but I’m scared as hell now and want a better educated idea on what might be going wrong here. I take vitamins every morning, drink lots of water, and don’t have a bad diet (I’ve actually lost a lot of weight recently). Please help!

You may have heard of acid reflux or heartburn. You may also have experienced the symptoms of the condition from time to time. However, have you ever sat back and looked into what might be causing the problem? Acid reflux causes could be the answer to maintaining your condition and the more you know, the easier it will be to handle.
It is all very good and well taking medicated treatments for acid reflux but at the end of the day, these are generally only meant to be used in the short term and long term usage could cause to further problems. It is not unheard of for a patient to become dependent on this medication in order to combat the condition but it is a much better idea to look at the acid reflux causes to try and prevent the symptoms rather than stop them once they have started.

If acid reflux is severe, can it cause pain in the area of the back between the shoulder blades? Pain that radiates to the shoulders, chest and even causes acid to come up in the throat??
