Permanent Acid Reflux Cure ? Is There a Permanent Cure For Heartburn?
For those unfortunate enough to suffer from regular bouts of heartburn the possibility that there might be a permanent acid reflux cure will seem like the answer to their prayers. But, if you have an open mind and are willing to take an alternative view to solving your problem, your prayers will be answered.
This may seem a fanciful claim as the medical profession tells us that there is no permanent cure for heartburn and that taking some form of drug based medication is the only way that we can control our problem. It is true that regularly popping those pills does bring that much needed relief. So is it possible that there is an alternative way to stop the pain and distress once and for all? The answer is YES and what is more, the cure does not rely on taking any drugs at all!

You have to take several factors into account when you treat your acid reflux disorder. It will depend on your particular body chemistry, if you are suffering from any other medical problems as well as your diet and other lifestyle choices. Discovering the most effective acid reflux treatment for you doesn’t always happen immediately. Not all treatments work for every person, and your doctor will have to help you discover what’s right for you. Thankfully, most treatments for this particular disorder are easy to do and do not cost a lot of money (if any at all). Here are some of the acid reflux treatments that your doctor might recommend for you.
One of the most common type of acid reflux treatments are medicines. There are, however, often side effects that accompany these medications. That’s why it’s a good idea to use medication only as a last resort. For many people, a few adjustments in the way they eat and exercise, along with over the counter medications for symptoms is all they need. For the most part, acid reflux medication is mild and is meant to either help coat your stomach or neutralize some of the acid that is produced. Some medications, however, can produce various side effects in certain people. Try to wait before getting a prescription. Your doctor can help you find other possible treatments.

What we don’t take into consideration is that producing stomach acid is both normal and necessary. That acid is a requirement for normal digestion to take place. By reducing it on a regular basis so that there is little or no acid present, your body is unable to optimally digest your food and you become nutritionally deficient. This could have serious implications for your overall health.
A second problem is that although your medication reduces acid levels, your stomach continues to produce the hormone, Gastrin, which actually stimulates stomach acid production. Consequently, when you stop taking your medication your stomach reacts by producing huge quantities of acid and your problem returns with a vengeance.

I am definitely not taking pills for the rest of my life because I have acid reflux. I’m a 13 year old that suffers from it daily and it’s ruining my life. I used to be a lead singer for a rock band and because of acid reflux……I can’t sing anymore. I’ve had acid reflux for about 8 months now.
It is my fault that I have acid reflux because our practices would be a bit late….ending around 9:30pm, so afterward I would get home and eat. I was stupid not to realize at the time that I was eating fast food (burgers, tacos etc.) right before bed and going to sleep right away after about 20 minutes. So 2 weeks later, I thought that I came down with laryngitis but I found out that I had acid reflux. I haven’t eaten fast food or any greasy foods since then and have tried many things but it’s not curing me enough to allow me to sing. I could talk but my esophagus is much too damaged from the acid to allow me to sing.
