What is the least problematic alcohol that i can drink with a reflux baby?
I am breastfeeding but I like to have a glass or 2 of wine some nights especially after dealing with a reflux 4 month old and a 2 year old all day but I’ve heard that alcohol can trigger the acid problem, if i am going to have a glass what would be the least irritable for my little bub? I had a few drinks when breastfeeding my older child and it never effected him.

Ask the doctor, if he says no then don’t do it, those kids are counting on you not to be selfish.
if u have to drink try expressing milk for the next couple of feeds after u have had the alcohol
Wait until bedtime, and drink the glass of wine as you feed him for bed. I know, I know, it sounds weird. But its going to take 20 minutes for the wine to get into your blood stream, so its the best time to feed.
Obviously the best choice is to avoid alcohol for a while, a few months until he is a bit older– but if you can have the drink between feeds you should be okay. Don’t have too much, 2 glasses tops. No need to pump and dump, either.
Ok wow, the least irritable would be to have none.
If you really have to have some then have it as your feeding him. But really if that was me I wouldnt have any especially not every night
your not supposed to drink when breastfeeding. If its causing your son problems dont drink at all. Because hes having some in his milk when you drink it.
Drink a non alcaholic version.
