Which bottle is better Dr. Browns or Avent both BPA Free?
I am about to have my second child and I want to use BPA Free bottles. My first child had acid reflux bad so I am sure my second will to. I want a bottle that I can put ceral in if I have to by doctors orders. Thank you for your help.

Every baby is different. But my daughter did very well with Dr. Brown’s bottles. They are a little difficult to clean, but well worth it. She had less gas and was less fussy once we started on them.
i recommend BornFree bottles. they are a bit pricey but they are same price as Avent’s BPA free bottles. Unlike Avent, BornFree sells a Y-cut nipple which is useful for bottles with cereal. Dr. brown’s are good and also have a Y-cut nipple, but they only make a BPA free bottle in the standard bottles, not the wide neck bottles (which was a deal breaker for me). The bornfree bottles have a vent system that really seems to work. you can see the air bubbles going to the top when the baby drinks.
I used Avent and really liked them. My daughter wouldn’t use any other brand.
I personally like Avent. I don’t think the bottle really does anything for the reflux. I think they have it no matter what type of bottle you use. My 10 week old baby has reflux and would moan and squirm all night long. I could tell that she was uncomfortable, but just couldn’t figure out what the problem was and how to solve it. My doctor advised that she might possibly have reflux. So, I started reading up on it and tried putting a wedge under her mattress in her crib so that her head would be slightly elevated. She’s sleeping wonderfully through the night now.
I like the Dr.Browns better then avent but it can be a pain to wash all the parts of the Dr.Browns. Avent isn’t bad but they can leak if done up a little to tight.
